This shift enabled Tera to transition to a subscription-based model, achieving 20% annual renewal rates, reducing operational costs, and increasing accessibility for users, while positioning the company for sustainable growth.

Tera's cohort-based learning model was costly, resource-intensive, and difficult to scale, limiting the company’s ability to grow sustainably.
